Well then they shouldn't complain if Japan doesn't feel like giving them any aid that wuld get stolen by the NK military anyway.

Energy aid is in return for dismantling Nuclear Power Plant and that was done by NK military, so it is military's ligitimate share not stealing.

Military's "legitimate share"???? When a country is such a disaster that it's economy and infrastructure teeters, and it;s people live on the borderline of starvation on an anual basis because of the Songun (MILITARY FIRST) policy, there is no such thing as "legitimate share".

There is no question that NK should and must resolve the abduction issue as soon as possible regardless of the NK nuclear issue.

The DPRK has no interest in dealing with Japan. It got what it wanted, America's ear and removal from the list of terror sponsoring nations. There is no reason, as far as they see, for engaging Japan, much less in a constructive manner. What's in it for them but more bad press in Japan. Realpolitik dictates that Japan needs to try a new approach. Beating the same old drum will not get any different results than it has to date. In fact the foot-in-mouth LDP'ers have even had one of their own, Kato, voice an interest in returning the repatriated abductees back to North Korea!? Machimura's blowing smoke.
