Congratulations for all of those great things you have done for world peace President Obama - I can't seem to think of anything that you have actually done for world peace - but congratulations anyway.

I am thinking of putting my cats name forward for next years peace prize, all he ever does is sleep and eat and you just don’t get much more peaceful than that.

‘‘It’s not easy for the president of the United States, the biggest holder of nuclear (weapons), to call for the creation of a nuclear-free world,’’

    Um, yes it is.

They should give the Nobel to Truman for making the decision to drop the nuke, ending the war early and saving millions of lives. (Millions more than Obama will save with his misguided policies.)

    That would be a hoot.

I know the Norwegians have made themselves look like total idiots but I don’t think even they would award a peace prize to a war criminal, albeit one that was never convicted, but should have been.

Call if for what it is but I still congratulate Obama anyways. If Obama fixed the economy, created 7 million new jobs, ended both wars, and oh yea world peace. People would still find something to complain about. The real tragedy is that politics never accomplishes anything really. There is the left and the right and everything in between. Each side believes it has the answer but usually don't. If one side is right the other side is automatically wrong, just because lol. This is why I have gotten fed up with politics and don't listen to anyone anymore. Haw do you expect there is ever going to be change when neither side is willing to compromise. If Obama has any real fault is he is trying to do to much all at once. Oh yea and the fact he is black really gets to some people! If politicians only realized how much damage they really do then maybe the world would be a better place to live. I vote for a world free of politics, special interests and all thinks geometrically opposed. I vote my dog Caesar as a candidate. Do I hear any objections Woof Woof. Honesty is a gift I guess lol.

It must really burn up the soka gakkai leadership, their zombies and their puppets in the loser komeito party. All the speeches and the humanitarian "work" that their dear leader Ikeda, who has tried for decades to win the Nobel, has done count for zip. Zilch. Nada. Bupkus. Barack Obama waltzes onto the scene and wins the prize after 12 days as president.

Yes, I do object, my cat got in there first and has a far better world philosophy than your Caesar. Plus he can wash behind his own ears without any help. Not that he does you understand, but he can. I am also curious about something. Can the Nobel peace prize be taken back if the winner fails to live up to it? I mean what is after the second election Obama turns into a raving war mad crazy, can the Norwegians ask for the prize back?
