Stop hiding behind that Worldly document called constitution, which is as temporary as human life itself, and pay your dues for the price of freedom. share the burden of sacrifices made by the US and most inductrialized nations. Japan has been getting a free ride for so many years, shielding itself in its constitution, and pretenting that providing money will take care of its responsibility. You reap the benefits of freedom from the countries that countribut to it, well, get on the freedom bandwagon and do whatever it takes so you will no longer be viewed as a freedom freeloader.

Definitely. Except that if they do, China and the Koreas will be screaming about the revival of Japanese Militarism again.

Oh, boo-hoo who gives a damn? It's about the Japanese people's reluctance to change military policy. That needs to be addressed.

If Japan did not contribute tons of money to third world countries they would never be part of making policy in any country. Let's face it, they throw their money around and they get what they want.

Policy review, reverse all old policies to new change policies.

There should not be any static policy.

Only policy should be reducing casualties, to zero of all sides.
