    NorthKorea should be obliterated.

    (said by franz75)

It is a distortion when a superpower that obliterates cities and nations is considered to be "the good" and "the responsible", while a country that tries to escape the fate of being obliterated is considered "the rogue" or "the brat".

It is time for Spineless U.N. to kick out N.Korea from the organization. Six parties talk had been a failure. Stop counting on China and Russia to promote peace and stability for the region. China plays game all along with N.Korea to gain the economics advantage from all. Japan must have a strong nuclear and atomic deterrent for self defense against its surrounding. Nobody want war, and the way to prevent it is to be strong and well prepare against all odd. In this scenario, even China, N.Korea, and Russia will speak a civilize tone to Japan.

Well if Japan ever sprouts a backbone maybe that could happen Bgood41. Let's hope they do. These spoiled children deserve to be put in their place.

The useless LDP and the mindless GNP in Korea are getting what they should know is coming. They are using the bush playbook which drove NK nuclear to start and pretending that somehow the results this time will be better. What a bunch of dopes.

Obama needs to step in and negotiate directly with NK, the six party talks are a joke. Obama and China need to work out the details. Clinton was very close to a breakthrough with NK back in 2000 but of course since it was a Clinton success bush destroyed it and with that wiped out the sunshine policy. Yet again Obama needs to clean up for the massive failures of republicans who do not know anything about foreign policy or running government for that matter.

Heck, once they lose their nukes, they'll get even more billions from the U.S. I can't stand it... Sarge, Have to mostly agree with you there...but I don't think they'll let go of the nukes.

"while a country that tries to escape the fate of being obliterated is considered "the rogue" or "the brat".

    YGHome,

Well, in addition to that, they counterfeit dollars, kidnap Japanese and others, sell weapons to terrorists (the ones who blow up innocent people, not military targets, deliberately), threaten neighbors, and so forth. "Rogue" means you don't cooperate well with others. Even China isn't all that happy with them, so the term fits.

Talking with NK is like talking to the taliban and hoping for peace with Satan.

The administration's special envoy for disarmament talks with North Korea said during a visit to Asian capitals two weeks ago that, "everyone is feeling relatively relaxed about where we are at this point in the process."

Could Neville Chamberlain have said this any better?

Is Japan currently an elected member of the UNSC? Just curious.

Obviously that is not what george bush thought in the last few days of his failed administration. He took NK off the state terrorist list and begged them for a deal that would give the bush losers one victory after 8 years of failure. Of course that effort failed as well as the dear leader knew that bush was yesterdays news. And an idiot to boot.

Demonizing NK is exactly what brought them to become a nuclear power. Rightwing hacks never learn.

[Demonizing NK is exactly what brought them to become a nuclear power. Rightwing hacks never learn.]

What? You mean it was only after GW mentioned that 'axis of evil' that they started to pursue nukes? Wow I didn't know that 'fact'.

[Obama needs to step in and negotiate directly with NK, the six party talks are a joke. Obama and China need to work out the details.]

Should he wear a red and blue suit with a cape and big S on the front as well? I can't wait for the movie version.

You should get together with Michael Moore on this one.

If you really believe this why do people like you and smithinjapan choose to make your home in a nation that can do little more than blindly follow a former US president?

They use your taxes for their Bush/Cheney agenda!

Your indignation has long since lost any appearance of sincerity. Your repetitive posts really make me wonder sometimes if you aren't actually a couple of neo-cons.

This is the most asinine comment ever posted on JT. You can go through Hell, but it doesn't make you a citizen there unless you want to be.

Farmboy, I relate to your answer to my comment. In your answer you make a list of sins that is supposed to justify the obliteration of a country.

When making a list of sins of someone, it may turn out that some of the accusations are baseless. Further, what about the sins of those who make the accusations? Kidnapping a few tens of people for spying purposes is awful, but how about kidnapping thousands of girls for using them as sex slaves, raped to death by soldiers? How about killing millions of civilians by air bombardments? How about massive cleansing of indigenous populations?

MIllions and billions and quadzillions of people. All a sin of whom?
