Well, there's at least a little flicker of hope.

Ah, had to come out with this in the end. You see, unfortunately, Abe's definition of "future-oriented" means "past-forgetting" and "misplaced entitlement". You build a future upon the past, not on the rug you try to bury it under.

Everyone has a right to move forward, otherwise the former colonial powers and the US would owe far more to the world than the Axis powers who stepped up to challenge them. Korea and everyone else liberated by Japan needs to look forward, because the REALITIES of the past are too embarrassing to be publicly aired.
