these policies may actually make sense, given that the continuing problems in the region since the russians left has been the lack of career options for youth. It may put more Japanese in harms way, but its a more nobler thing to do and will improve their image abroad.

Alternative afghan support is good.
Only afghanistan ,the last nation to become consumers and enter global consumption market. Sony and Akio morita projects coming soon to Afghanistan in future.

I agree with MrUSA, save the money and create more jobs at home. The problem with the world today is EVERYBODY is so damn concerned about their "image". Fk image and look after those that we're meant to, whether it's your nation or your family. This very basic fundamental seems to be compromised all so often these days in favour of appearances. Sad.
Afghanistan has shown for probably decades now, that it cannot be resolved and as a result, external intervention from other nations has been required where innocent lives have been lost for this troubled nation and region.
No, enough is enough. I don't want to hear of any innocent Japanese lives lost because of this.
