Yes, I'm sure that's going to straighten them out. There's already a resolution in place prohibiting them from launching and they're launching anyway.

Passing resolution will be quick and easy but why so impatient knowing that sanctions simply dont work.

N Korea can launch satellites but not missals if it is actually a satellite is upto debate. I doubt sure if the UNSC would actually support more sanctions

If Japan thinks that the Useless Nations will actually do something that will make sense for the 'world', it has no idea just how useless that concept is.

Just maybe asking for more sanctions against NK that they know will have no effect leaves Japan free to take what ever action it feels like taking. I wouldn’t want any country to go nuclear but Japan could do so in probably something under a year & who could blame them given that they are neighbours to these real crazies north of the 38th parallel?
Granted this does not take any account of NKs new weapons of “Mass” that mummet (07:30 AM JST ) has warned us about. I can’t really see the UN banning NK from having & using “missals” as that would be seen as religious intolerance & THAT is simply not politically correct these days. How Japan plans to protect it self against a deluge of liturgical books I would like to speculate, going nuclear might just be the only defence left open to them & who could blame them after such an underhand attack?

If the UN doesn't do anything, it would be another perfect justification for Japan to pull from the budget. Let's see how this organisation that was originally established for the purpose of annihilating Japan, as stated in its current charter arrive at their defence.

No, we're not that stupid. Calling the Taepondong a "satellite" is what the North Koreans did last time. "SEOUL, South Korea — Senior intelligence officials told South Korean lawmakers Wednesday that the projectile being prepared for launch in North Korea appears to be a long-range missile, not a satellite as claimed by the communist country." http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,499945,00.html
