Yeah, it's great news for Japan. Everybody knows Hillary and respects her, even the folks who live in Obama City, Japan. Who knows, she might be invited to Bistro SMAP one of these days.

No way. I think itz a media lie. Japanese should aware about her. All she said is China is a true partner. Even Mr.Clinton was president same things happen. We don't forget what she said and did so easily. she is indeed trouble maker of Japan.

As US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton will lean towards China. Under the Clinton administration, the phrase 'Japan passing' was essentially coined.

As quoted from the Daily Yomiuri: "Hillary Clinton said last year that the most important bilateral relationship will be the one between the United States and China."

What do you mean narrow minded? I'm saying I am not welcomed her as Japanese. Let me state how American politics work. When President Clinton, there were huge trade conflict against Japan. American starts saying, because Japanese trade market (car) our economics is getting bad. American make huge things about it and the government pressure Japan to change our law or whatever American want Japanese to be, were keep and keep pushing what they want. Because, friendship between American and Japan, which America doesn't like it, they try to be friend with China says "China is our true Asian Friends."

Nothing blame about it. Because that's what America Friendship about. Benefits at all.

When Mr.Tanaka was prime minister. Actually we tried to have "friendship" with China. It was huge things that after WWII, finally we could to be partner even there is the history. However, US was so so so against it(economically, political relationship to Japan or China gain its position) and US didn't want Japan look another man,China lol. Media (US media) found Mr.Tanaka's scandal and we could not make relationship.

It was funny what political friend keep doing to Japan.

I suggest that never believe what a politician said but see what he(she) really did. Democratic system already makes all politicians become movie actors! Something they said might just try to appease their supporters for some promises they failed to got done. All those ‘ trade conflict complaint’ they did to JP or they do to CN are similar show! I do know this Mr. Tanaka was quite an able man but as a Taiwanese I don’t like him because you know that he ceased diplomatic relationship with us for CN. Anyway, I personally quite like the Clintons and at least they really respect various viewpoints of other countries and they did good management job of the US government system… except those “ famous cigar matters Bill did ”. BTY, not narrow-minded means “ generous” so people can do things in front of him not behind him. You know that many people can find more reasons than JP to complain like Native american can always say invasion of white men and blacks can say abduction matter 150 years ago….
