China probably has a say as to whether the NK military goes along with the ex-leader's wishes and recognize the new Kim (as de jure and facto leader), or make him irrelevant.

Is unbelievable that even with recent events involving Chinese fishing boat Noda have the courage to go to china.

What the hell are you doing, Mr. no-da ? Would not be better, help the homeless of Fukushima ?

Does NK have any chances for positive changes, that could come from an inner social development, in the present international situation and amidst all her neighbors playing hard ball, or is it together with her dependency and poverty just catering the hard liners in the party and in the army too?

Being fellow Japanese, I have same feelings as Issa1. No-da is awful and should immediately cancel this trip! Until communists stop invading Japan by government backed fishing boats, this idiot DPJ puppet must stand up to bully china! No-da is fake japanese, many people we know say they discovered he is really zainichi korean by secret.

@issa1. At least it's much better than a dangerous confrontation with China.

We Japanese are ready for Peace, AND prepared for war. We just need LDP back to power and stand up for ourselves!

Dont blame Mr Noda too much....you know the Japanese business sector wants hime go to mend the ties for better business! The LDP ...well they are still infighting and Mr Abe is no where to lead the country, he would be lucky to kee his party intact. You know todays' LDP has much fewer members than 20 years ago!

Hatoyama-kan-Noda - Is very strange the way how these men drink water, Ozawa is a smart man, never drinking water in public.
