Obviously both leaders didnt learn a lesson from the trawler incident last year, that was really a great slap so amusing!

Do they have aircraft carriers when they are talking about 'maritime countries'?

One cannot blame the President Aquino III -- a man who is neither a genuinely proven international leader nor a popular figure at home -- whose intent is to try to demonstrate a certain posture at geopolitical hierarchy at the level of the big powers' playground and to save his falling popularity at home. What is really a pity is that Japan accepts the invitation to 'dance' with a nth class political opportunist... Probably a miscalculated tactic to save Japan's face further to the recent humiliating 'round trip' tour by the Russian surveillance aircraft ?
