Hu also probably has to worry about popular opinion with the Party and to a lesser extent the people back in China. Can't be seen being too friendly with those "barbaric Japanese" now can he?

Why President Hu Jintao was in Honolulu while China was not invited to the TPP talk?

Does anyone on JT know the reason of Jintao's presence there?

Chinese manufacturers of 'pirate' items are smart enough to avoid unmarketable items especially in a year when Mr. Noda may have well been forgotten.

Like I said before, TPP is a form of political aliance against China.
