The human condition to not let sleeping dogs lie. Fukada, why oh why when there are so many other domestic issues that need to be resolved. The current law for the deployment of Self-Defense Forces is fine so if it ain't broke why fix it?

Renouncing war forever doesn't mean rearming yourself and going to other countries to fire guns. It's just a matter of time before you're fighting wars again, eventually starting them again. Don't even try to justify it.

Except that it isn't fine and it is broken. Peacekeepers are needed most urgently when there is no peace or it's fragile. Japan's laws are far too restrictive and even have the nonsense that Japanese forces can't come to the aid of allied troops under attack.
