If my math is correct, it will take the top THREE parties support to even get to over 50% (23% & 15% & 13%). This is a recipe for just more ineffective politics in Japan and several more years of stumbling and bumbling since there is no real consensus to move firmly in any specific direction. Good luck folks, you're gonna need it.

Setting aside slight variances among different media it appears clear that Ishin has truly become a force to be reckoned with at the national stage while half of the nation remain either indifferent or don't have an idea of who they want to vote for. While people on the center or left may be fearful of the former development, to me the latter is a much scarier situation to be in if the case is such that the last minute decision made by many based on whatever last minute intuition may determine the direction of the whole of Japan at this very critical point in time.

Polls in the media and the media themselves should be banned 2 weeks prior to election dates from making predictions about political parties or candidates. Media with political affiliations to a political party are biased in their reporting. Voters should make their own mind up, without the media. Only political party leaders should be given media access through whatever channels to give the public their mandates.1 or 2 TV debates between the leaders would give the public an insight to the parties. Let the public think for themselves.

Not necessarily. Many voters are still undecided at this point, so it's possible that one or two of them combined will go over 50% majority.

It doesn`t really matter, I think. If anyone is affected by what "other people" think, their judgement would have to be questioned anyway.
At the end of the day, one should listen carefully to what the various parties have to say and choose the one that
s BEST FOR THE COUNTRY. (Lets hope the party will after the election do what they promised!!!)1

Abe and LDP have just kicked a can down to the slope. The world is keeping the mouth shut as this is not our business. It is a choice of Japan and Japanese voters and we should respect that..
Well, Japan will be erased as a world competitor with LDP. Do not blame us and the world. You should know the consequences. Good luck, folks.

LDP is leading way ahead of other party. Question is whether or not they can get over 50% alone. It is interesting to see how young generation is supporting LDP, which was unthinkable a few decades ago.

This seems to be true, unfortunately.
Doubtful. It wouldn't do any good even if they did, they need a two thirds majority to bypass the upper house.
Where are you getting this from? I would personally be surprised if all that many young people actually knew who and what the LDP are, let alone support them.

Yet, they can name every talento in AKB.
If the military is back to Japan, well these sheep generations will be called in to serve including Kawaii "Cafe-Girls" Who could imagine that? And Abe is telling Japanese sheep will defend US troops when US soldiers are attacked? Abe must have been pretty drunk when he said that. No thanks, Abe.
