Article 9: Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes. 2) In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.

    Need I say more?

If Korea continues on its path to war with their little side shows and saber rattling you may see Article 9 out the window.

For a nation that depends on Japan like Korea does I dont understand why they wish to fight Japan. But I say more power to them and please continue on this path.

Bear baiting is great fun until the chain snaps.

Sabre rattling south koreans(military drills) in our great sabre rattling world(earth).

Remembers the billions in trade between japan and south korea, other nations waiting to takeover Samsung,Hyundai,Toyata,Panasonic and other korean-japanese business.

    1. Good point! You have some insightful eyes into the history. South Korea may yield North Korea to use Dokdo for "Missile Base".

    Joebigs,

You have a dangerous idea. You are talking about a battle, not a war. Vietnam did not win against the US because they had more jetfighters. In addition, Koreans have better Army that can invade Japan. Japan will loose more than gain. You are a dangerous man who should not be a leader.

  • JoeBigs at 04:59 PM JST - 5th August

Mmm leadership, yeah that is the ticket....Ok I am formally adding my name for Shogun of Japan. If anyone will vote for me please say Aye...

highhope, the only dangerous idea is the one that Korea has. Korea will not use diplomacy but rather wants to use force. I do not see how Japan can respond other than by force if Korea continues on its course.

Now on the part of the mighty Korean military and the Vietnam war. One last time the Korean war machine was tested it was the Korean war/conflict. We know what happened so why even go into it.

Now to the Vietnam war, the Vietnamese forces fought on their home turf and had been waring for more years than man has been around. The Vietnamese were willing and able to fight. Well we will just leave this part alone. But if you want to know read the top para.

War is not what Korea can do, online game is another story. But to fight a major war on its own it can not. If war broke out it would not be fought on land but rather by sea. No military can win a war by fighting with patrol boats. So guess what would happen in the long run.....

  • nandakandamanda at 05:13 PM JST - 5th August

Classic spiral path to war the Koreans are walking down. And the secret ingredient which assures the worst will happen? The fact that they are unable to see it or do anything about it. A self-fulfilling prophesy. An inablility to see anything but one side. Blaming one side but no self-reflection? Uh-oh! Allow emotion to cloud reason, and you're in serious trouble.

    The seer hath spoken.

All the other countries of the world should get together and blow those damn rocks up then no one can have then... Just like when the kids fight over a toy...We take it away form them both..

  • JoeBigs at 12:51 PM JST - 6th August

Actually the only nation acting like a 5 year old is Korea. Japan has been asking Korea to take this dispute to the ICJ but Korea keeps acting up.

So using your idea, I say we take the islands from Korea and hold it till the Courts are ready to hear the case.

    Great idea Nippon5!

  • JoeBigs at 01:10 PM JST - 6th August

LOL.....let us see your fact are a bit flawed to start with. Your charts were not referring to Ulleungdo rather than Takeshima. So your reference to 512 is a joke. Do the research and you maybe surprised. Hell if you need help I can point you to a few sites that did the research. If you need just ask and I will provide it again. Or you can just look here and you will spot what I have already posted more than one time.

Btw, did I offend you? So sorry there... Oh you have studied history I see. Korean text books on their glorious past from what you have written.

Now if you need help I can point you to the right places and books. But most likely all I will get from you are more veiled insults.

JoeBigs- great propaganda , as usuual.

The islands are owned and controlled by Korea, that is a fact.

They will not give control to Japan, and if in the future Japan goes back t its usual militaristic ways, Korea will smash Japan, probably N and S Korea would join togther to get revenge.

Be carefull foe what you wish.

Dare I say, that is the funniest statement any Korean has said to date. The funniest part is that most Koreans would love for Korea to be ruled by Dear Leader Monchichi. To be honest I would love to see Korea back together that way they could starve as one people!...LOL

  • ChimpsAhead at 01:25 PM JST - 6th August

JoeBigs I agree with Theneworder666. The Japanese have no claim on these islands.

They only had control by aggression, not the way to go. Give up the claim Japan and gain some respect worldwide.

  • JoeBigs at 01:29 PM JST - 6th August

That is the funniest statement yet, you beat out theneworder666 with that one. So tell me, who took the island by force? Who has a force stationed there? Japan? LOL
