Keep them in Oki for another 100 years.

All depends on moving Futenma. And we all know how that's going...SLOW!

How about moving the Okinawans (the ones constantly complaining about the Marines) to Guam and keeping the marines on Okinawa? Cheaper? Faster?

Where would you put them? If you put them in Japan proper the natives will abuse them. I suppose if the economy forces the Japazillian community out of Mie the Okinawans could move there. But if not, what would be done with them?

I guess this will help the Guamanian economy?

Bummer for those 8000 Marines as Guam really and truly sucks. The only relocation that could be worse would be to Saipan.
