round of golf is 3-5 hours. in a 168 hour week, that doesn't seem too extreme at all. have to clear the mind sometimes or you'll go nuts. also, no matter where he is 24/7 he is kept up to date on whatever is going on & there's nothing physically he can do to stop the oil. so, hit some balls. better than pumping the balls into the well trying to stop it up.

His short game could use some work but other than that I don't see any problem with it.

I see nothign wrong with it. Nothing he can do personally to go and plug it.

All he can do is appoint people that will make sure that the hole gets plugged.

Did he use the new GREEN Golf-ball?

He actually always plays with Vice President Biden so no doubt they talk "shop" for most of the way around anyway

Difficult to fault Obama`s dedication to his job so far

YES! He should be donning his wet suit and swimming down to the leak and plugging it with his butt! What a stupid poll question!

Ummm no. I don't see that not playing golf would improve the situation in the Gulf, would it? But hey, if it does, maybe all golfers should stop for a while, and see if that fixes the leak...

Maybe If you were one of the families living in the areas affected with that oil spill incident you wouldn´t be saying ¨I don`t see anything wrong with that¨

Actually it is his job. Its a major problem facing America and he is the nations leader. I am not saying it is his fault, but I would say it falls in the job description of the president to fight a problem this large.

No nothing wrong at all. Golf is how some people make decisions, talk business, or to gather their thoughts. Some more folks need to go golfing to gather their thoughts and think of better poll questions.

When its time to do your best, do your best. When its time to relax, do relax, otherwise the president will die at very young age because of over stressed, overworked with all these problems in US and around the world.

Only that it leads to silly internet quizzes, like this one.

For somebody who works at many hours as that and has as much pressure and stress as the President I guess it's not so bad. I used to think so when Bush did the same thing, but looking back on things that wasn't so bad either.

Obama playing golf reminded us of oil spill crisis being unresolved, that's worth.

I don't really care about this, it ain't really news, but those voting should know, Obama didn't do it just once, but seven times since it happened. BP and Obama are both idiots.

I though Kevin Costner had it all under control...

What do you want him to do, work 24 hours a day, seven days a week?

    Grow up.

If he cancelled any other important meetings or activities, yes. If he had some free time..........play golf!!!!

People are humans not machines. There is only so much President Obama can do. Being President is probably one of the hardest job you'll ever get in life, if Presidents didn't have downtime, they'll go crazy. Bush went on "vacation" a few times to his ranch or camp david. It is not like he was out of reach, if something happened, someone would be running to him with a report.

I don't see a problem with Obama playing golf. I do see a problem with his dragging his feet about accepting oil skimmers from other countries and not requesting that other U.S. oil skimmers be reassigned to the Gulf.

BP's blatent disreguard of safety regulations caused tens of thousands of barrels of oil to pour into the Gulf daily. It's been over 70 days and prompt action by the Obama administration could have prevented millions (tens of millions?) of barrels of oil from covering the coastline and the fishing grounds.

He's either incompetent or is playing politics with the livelyhood of millions of voters. Doesn't look good either way.

Whether he's been playing golf or basketball is immaterial. He has people available 24/7 to handle the details. He only had to tell them to get the job started.
