He's more like a combination of Chauncy Gardener (Being There) and the president in Dr. Strangelove, both played by Peter Sellers.

Robert Hoover-the Delta Tau Chi Fraternity President in "Animal House".

We are finishing up 8 years of comedy with the current presidential administration-a sick comedy at that-so why not have some real fun with the next administration in 2009?

I'm not at all surprised that many on here would love to see the terror-kickin' President Harrison Ford in Air-Force One. Disgusting display of idealism... and no way in hell George would ever risk his life for anything or anyone.

Indeed, these recent US Presidents are all obsessed by the terrorists. The White House structure alone is standing up against these global injustice and tyranny without them, its residents.

Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact. The movie was pretty dumb, but Morgan Freeman really did seem to make a good president.

Another poor poll suited better for other places... this seems more for american homesick people, the kind of people who are famous outside the us for not being able to adapt to their to new host country or understand other countries(see mismanaged wars for example). maybe it might be an idea to do a poll more about "japantoday"

888, your comment about Americans is personally biased and unfounded. Yet, oddly enough, your statement regarding mismanaged wars is spot on. And that's why this poll is interesting --- for 8 years the US has not had strong leadership, and the result is a worldwide fiasco. The poll is not about the actors, but the strength for which each portrays.

My vote goes to President Palmer from "24."
