After seeing the reaction to the video game in the United States and hearing opinions sent through phone calls and email, we decided several days ago not to sell it.

It could have been a good game. Just like all the games made about World War 1 and 2, the Vietnam War and the Gulf War in 1988.
America won't rule the world forever. Their end is nigh.

"It could have been a good game"
Yeah, the violence level promised to be up there at or near the top.

Uhmm... dude.... I mean neverknow2 you really don't know do you? The Gulf War was in 1991. How old are you anyway? Not old enough to know that fact. I think this would be a good game for the US Army and the Marines to buy up and use for training the troops.

The Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988 was the one I was referring to. Also known as the Persian Gulf War.
I guess you Americans have so many wars it's gard to keep track of them all.

Ok now it makes sense. Being Japanese can we assume correctly that you have something against the US military in your country? You might want to reflect on how they got there. How would you feel about a video game if it simulated fighting on Okinawa or Iwo Jima?
