Businesses are still restricting travel and demand is slumping. JAL has no choice but to offer unpaid leave.

    Funny, I was reading a similar story about British Airways earlier. But with them staff can choose between unpaid leave and unpaid work. They're also going to make more redundancies, and probably that'll be JAL's next move too.
