Coal is dirty energy.............................................. Coals plants produce the highest amount of pollution , including : CARBOB DIOXIDE(CO2) emissions ( the primary cause of global warming) ; SULFER DIOXIDE (SO2); NITROGEN oxides (NOx);PARTICAL MATTER, (also referred to as soot or fly ash) which can cause chronic bronchitis, aggravated asthma, and premature death, as well as haze obstructing visibility;Mercury; LEAD; CADIUM; other toxic HEAVY METALS; and trace amounts of URANIUM,......................Burning coal is also a leading cause of smog, acid rain, and toxic air pollution.
