I am concerned TEPCO will begin to slowly release small amounts of contaminated water into the ocean without notifying authorities. It would not be the first time the company has endangered the fragile ecosystem of the ocean by using it as a dumping ground.

Too many Japanese will slyly do what they know to be wrong if they think they can get away with it, then feign ignorance of the law if they get caught; You only have to walk on the street to see this in action everyday. TEPCO would be crazy to do such a thing at this time though; too many eyes on them.

What ? They have already been doing it, so "begin" is a word out of place in this article.

if this is the case currently then amounts should be measurable by other international bodies who are not in on the TEPCO coverups.
