I sincerely hope that this exhibition will bring to the public a new awareness of the samurai culture that is often misunderstood as a mere martial art.

    Yeah I agree. People shoould learn about the buggery and proud homosexuality of the sumarai class of Japan. Of how they threatened and over taxed people people, as well as rape murder etc. It's from studying the past that a people will be able to learn from their mistakes and move forward. Awareness is good.
