In 10 years, robots may be able to help out around the house. But I don’t necessarily know that robots should do everything.

    For the non-ambulatory elderly citizens of Japan - an increasing amount - that the government wants to ignore, these robots will be a godsend. Especially for the homebound elderly living alone.

    However, for the physically-able younger population, I think doing daily chores is a good thing. It teaches time management and organizational skills that are easily put to use in other areas of life. If a robot always did your dishes, would you be more productive or would you spend more time vegging out in front of your computer writing nasty comments online to news sites?
