It is essential that Japanese people see this film. They have the same reaction as an American audience, but they have the added emotion of shame.

Louie Psihoyos, director of “The Cove,” a documentary that exposes Japanese dolphin slaughter. The film, which has won audience awards around the globe, has been shut out of the Tokyo International Film Festival for “hypocritical” reasons, Psihoyos claims. (Toronto Star)
