It was the middle of the student activism period and sometimes students would jump on stage and begin arguments. Musicians were playing at the risk of their lives.

    This does not make any sense??? If one hated the music so much, why would they attend the performance only to boo the musician offstage? Sounds like a load of crap to me.

    Actually, just a bunch of bands setting up in the park. People would scream and holler. Sounds exciting, like back then people had strong emotions about how well or badly a band sounded.
