Kent Weed, executive producer of “I Survived a Japanese Game Show,” saying that the most consistent themes in Japanese game shows are humiliation and embarrassment — sometimes to the point of sadistic — which oddly enough can serve as stress relief for conservative Japanese. (AP)

    I disagree... humiliation and embarrassment are extremely conservatives and traditional values in japanese society...

    But compare this to Jerry Springer... and you'd think it's National Geographic material...
