It's the tastiest food I've ever eaten at any athletes' village I have stayed at.

    I thought Japanese athletes were carrying their own food and soy sauce because they were afraid to eat the food in the Beiging Olympic village. Do they serve Chinese cuisine there? Well done to the organizers.

    I am sure they offer a selection of cuisines, of course prepared by top-chefs using top-ingredients.

    I have no doubt that the food is tasty as I also have no doubts that it is also very costly.

    Thanks, Zen. I am surprised to hear good impressions about the food from the Japanese team. Also I am happy that Kitajima is glad with the food. Hopefully Japanese team will have very good results and will not blame the food for the failures if there are any. Good luck to Kitajima too in the swimming competition. He is one of the strongest hopes of Japan for medal.

    Athletes have never got it better, tastiest food and full capacity sold out stadium seats.

    Athletes who want better facilities can stay at hotels and there are many variety.

    A lot of expenses is borne by China's people/administration for this games with infrastructures/transport facilities.

    All medals imbedded with jade for first time.

    They also get new top quality/expensive stadiums facilities, high media fame/attention, volunteeers unlimited to help,unlimited fans and a 5 to 4 times richer new china.

    2012 London games food, may not be as tasty as, beijing 2008.

    hahahaha 2012 London games food - English cuisine exist? I wonder about the English fans, they are very scary (based on the soccer ones).

    I wonder what's on the menu? Do they cater to individual ethnic tastes? Anyway as Zenbuilder said I am sure the cuisine is top notch.

    2012 games less people going, because of English(London) cuisine,English fans and many other weakness.

    Only strong point is English music(2012 London) is better than Chinese music in 2008 beijing games.
