An employee at All-Nippon Airways, one of many companies which are trying to make sure their employees do not become overweight. Under new health ministry guidelines, a
company that by 2013 has failed to meet certain standards regarding efforts to reduce obesity among its staff will face higher payments to the new national health insurance for seniors over 74. (Shukan Post)

It was only a matter of time before this happened. Considering the cost in lost hours and productivity brought to companies by overweight, unhealthy employees, it makes sense. Next up, smokers.
