Good idea, since it's worked so well in the past, NOT! Unless "action for action" includes lobbing nukes over there. But that's why we love the Americans, even though we hate them, so they can watch our backs.

Leaders have been tiptoeing around this issue for years. Either ignore them entirely or take action to remove tubby from his dictatorship. There's no in-between.

What's wrong with the current method? NK hasn't attacked anyone (well, a few small incidents with SK), they are just sabre rattling. Let them keep doing that.

Or completely ignore them. Tell them that the world will deal with them when someone else is in power. But that's likely to actually provoke an attack.

But no military invasions. That's just asking for them to shoot off nukes at someone. And as Iraq showed us, invading sovereign nations that have not attacked you leads to long-term issues, and different problems, not a removal of said problems.

Whenever a politician had no idea what to do, he will utter catchphrases like "dialogue and pressure", and "action for action".

Make no mistake, North Korea exists because the powers-that-be want it to exist. North Korea gives our governments a boogeyman to hold their people in fear. This allows them to spend lots of money to protect the people from the boogeyman. North Korea is propped up by China for the same reason. If there were no enemies to protect the people from, why would we need governments or armies?

Give us a break. How dumb do you think we are? North Korea will continue to do whatever they want, and the rest of the world will continue to ... wait.
