We're already in the beginning of a bubble... Careful with all such opinions, many are misleading.

This can only mean that Chinese do not take seriously all their government's anti-Japan rhetoric. That's good. I already had that impression based on the huge number of Chinese tourists hanging out here in Shinjuku.

So are these Chinese buyers regular property investors who build properties in order to rent them out to local people for a modest return? Or are they people who just buy up properties which end up sitting empty and losing money every month, but the owners don't really care because they are just happy that they were able to smuggle their bags of dubious cash out of China? We can see this in London and Hong Kong and it's a real drain on economic competitiveness when properties become investments or money laundering vehicles instead of homes for real people. It's something the Japanese government should take steps to discourage.
