The workers have been through multiple stress. They experienced the plant explosions, the tsunami and perhaps radiation exposure. They are also victims of the disaster because they live in the area and have lost homes and family members. And the last thing is the discrimination.

    Ah yes, rather than gratitude for their contribution, we see discrimination against the workers at Fukushima Daiichi. Will these unfortunate souls who have stepped in to keep nuclear meltdown at bay and potentially saved millions of Japanese lives become the 21st century's Dowa people? The post-modern eta class?
