@volland I'd like to see Japan's surrender proposal to China. China hates Japan's guts and is already planning their bases for Japan. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

China has no interest in conflicts, these are well educated politicians, who have to climb through a well designed hierarchy to get to the top. They are interested in sustainable growth.

You on the other hand might spend some time thinking about the fact, that not everybody is an american, where SuperPacs and the interests of Billionaires decide who runs the county, which then always needs a military budget that equals the rest of the world's added together....

Who would have thought that the president of an aerospace - defense consultancy based in Japan, would be supportive of the govt's desire to increase and modernize it's defensive / offensive / military capacity.

It's not like there is any sniff of a vested interest in hte air.

Who are China's allies? North Korea. Not sure of any others.
