Nobuyuki Chino, president of Tokyo-based grain trader Continental Rice Corp. Media reported last week that Tokyo was considering relaxing as soon as next year import rules on U.S. beef. (Reuters)

There should be cheaper priced a lot of things imported from all around the world on the Japanese shelves. Scotch whisky should be 15~30% cheaper than a year ago as most other goods.

    Next year meaning January?

    American beef is the best.

What deflation? There is price gouging with this yen rate.

More low quality meat for the lower classes...I do hope Japanese meat stays on the market though, the difference is obvious.
