I agree! The Japanese Press just repeats what the Police, Prosecutors, Judges and Government Officials tell them. There is no investigative reporting and no holding the Police, Prosecutors, Judges and Government Officials accountable for their statements and deeds. Their is no objective non bias reporting by the Japanese new media. That is one of the biggest reasons that the presumption of innocence until proven guilty is ignored by the Prosecutors and Courts. Judges do not look at the evidence in the light of innocence they look for and most of the time fabricate a reason to find guilt. And, the Japanese Press goes along with this instead of pointing it out as a violation of the Japanese people's rights under the law. The Japanese news media has completely failed in their responsibilities to act as the watchdogs for the Japanese people.
