Takehiko Yamamura, a crisis management consultant who has written books on the subject. Yeah! Stricter security measures during our commutes. Another wonderful bonus we residents can thank the Olympics for.

It gets tiring being "thumbed down" the whole time so I didn't say anything after the "fiery suicide" but with terrorists all over the world my first thoughts were "maybe..."

"Overseas"? I thought Japanese terrorists already have a history here?

Were Aum terrorists? They weren't trying to push any kind of agenda on society, just disrupt a police investigation.

I'd say they were straightforward murderers....

This wasn't a terrorist. This was a loon.

I also recall a guy (under police interrogation) lit himself on fire after being given a match and a cig by the cops.

Not sure J-cops are the best people to keep self lighting terrorists at bay.

As long as you also keep in mind terrorism in Japan could be perpetrated by Japanese just as it does by foreigners. Think Aum.
