We have to ask whether it's good to let machines be caregivers, and many say that people should be looking after other people. But the fact is that there will be more people who need care, and less people to provide it.

    There could be more people to provide care giving if Japan would just ease up a little on immigration. Is it really that bad to let a bunch of well trained nurses from south east asia into the country?

    It's such a waste of time and money to replicate what people are already good at. Robotics is better left for things that are too difficult and dangerous for humans to do such as space exploration.
