When U.S. allies are fighting with each other, China thinks it can divide us all. That gives us a big headache.

"Divide and conquer" is not solely a Chinese strategy, it has been in use throughout Man's history. Many nations, including the US use this as Standard Operating Procedure.

But, Michael Green doesn't need to worry. China isn't doing much conquering these days - at least not on the battlefield, it is however making big strides economically.

And that has the US worried.

I think the operative word here is "thinks". China, not having any allies of its own, wouldn't know how to get them or how to keep them.

China isn't the one with soldiers in every corner of the globe. I can't think of any country that has its own military bases half way round the world, and routinely flies close to airspace nowhere near their country, except one.

Right. China is making big strides economically. Its the pesky NK regime that might use the bickering to their favor.

Mainland asia and Japan relationship has aways been at odds with each other. Just like in Ireland just like India Pakastan, Serbia and Croatia, Just like Russia and USA. If you look at history the South Korean and Japan relationship is the best it has ever been in 1000 years

scipantheist,

China, not having any allies of its own

China has more allies than you think.

China has its foot well and truly in the door in Africa.

In Asia, China is very definitely the centre of trade. And worldwide, there are Chinese EVERYWHERE. A Chinatown in most major cities, especially along the West Coast of the US and Canada, Sydney in Australia.

China is a trading country. It doesn't wage fake wars.

It doesn't need to. It's winning economically.

China thinks nothing. It's not a warmonger country. This absurd anti-China propaganda can work only with the fools.
