What a weird idea, and a bad one. SEVEN WEEKS to help promote a sporting event? Are all the organizers going to do it, too?

It said fans would be given black rubber rings to wear to show they were supporting the abstinence campaign

So where do the Japanese wear their Black Rings?

If it is where I would guess, it most surely has slipped off.

I'm sure this would have gone down better with the Scottish fans.

The Kiwis could have had some slogan or other based around "Don't even bother coming, Scotland (for seven weeks) !"

It would be good advice too ;)

No "Brits" involved, oberst. You have the English gentlemen, the Welsh hill-farmers, the Irish bogmen and the Scotch mentalists. "Britishness" counts for nothing in this kind of situation.

how embarrassing. first we get ripped off by Adidas, now nz telecom have invented this program. the NZRFU seems to want to derail everything positive about the 2011 rugby world cup. in my opinion JAPAN should have been awarded the 2011 rugby world cup. i do believe JAPAN will have provided a far better tournament than the NZRFU could ever achieve. at times it is difficult being a kiwi this is one of those times
