Asa is finally injury-free back to his best - and that is UNDISPUTED KING OF SUMO. The ease with which he dispatches these amateurs is ridiculous!

Looks like Chiyotaikai's going to continue his tradition of becoming kadoban ozeki every other basho or so.

I am not sure if Asa is injury-free... This second week is the real test.

Sumo needs Asa and his charisma. Come on Asa!

He is the real bad boy of sumo. I love him because he keeps my interest in sumo. Without his kadoban action I would not watch sumo (or only Kotooshu). If he leaves sumo, it will be a great loss - I am so excited every time he makes 8:7 kachikoshi and escapes kadoban. the real excitement of sumo are the Chiotaikais kadobans and Kotooshu's cuteness.

I am not sure about this. But he needs this win very much or he will be forced in retirement.
