Scotland is weathering the storm. In two matches, they've absorbed the contact in the first half, then played wider, outside the cotact zone in the second.

They look good to challenge the Springboks.

Scotland is doing very well, no argument there. England have been a stumbling block for Australia on the last 3 occasions they've met at world cups. Hopefully this time will be different

Pool A is getting very interesting. You have Australia who have had it over Wales in recent years, and England who have been strong over the Aussies recently. My says that Australia might scrape through at the expense of the host country. Then again, if Australia persists with Quade Cooper, the team might as well pack its bags for home.

If fear you may be right. Why Cheika picked him, I do not know. Cooper will either shine, or disappoint when the wallabies take the field against England. 3 power house teams.............to contend for only 2 places. It's a shame it has to be this way

@Christopher Glen

Cooper never shines, if choking was an Olympic sport, he would be up for gold. Indeed, some people like to compare him to the mercurial David Campese (the chap that destroyed the All Blacks in 1991 and also had his share of brain fades). However, the only similarity I can see is that both Quade and Campo had two arms and two legs. Australia will go out rather early this time around I think. No goal keeper and no defense to speak of in the No. 1 channel if Cooper plays.

We shall see. Every dog has its day
