Barcelona wins Spanish title, Man United looking at 4th

This is a strange one for the Man U board. If van Gaal had finished 5th with no European football to distract them plus that huge outlay ( the points Man U have wouldn't have been good enough for top 4 in some seasons ), he'd have gone already. He's finished top 4 but hasn't guaranteed Champions League revenue next season. It looks like Man U are planning another massive spending spree in the summer although it looks likely that they will recoup some cash with the supposedly done and dusted sale of De Gea. I'm not completely sure the powers that be at Man U will trust him with another lorry-load of cash when looking at the likes of £60,000,000 thrown around to have di Maria warming the bench. It could be worth a bet on a new manager in charge for that qualifier.
