Astonishing Estonian Baruto ! Congratulations !

Baruto looked pretty happy after losing to Hakuho today. Probably he was thinking "Hakuho must be pissed that I get the Emperor's Cup! Tee hee!"

Harumafuji and Kotoshogiku (finishing on 8-7) was a joke. Gotta rehearse a bit more boys if you want to hide that yaocho.

I just checked the detailed results. Kotooshu is 10-5 and Aran 8-7, both kachikoshi which is good, meaning Kotooshu will keep his ozeki rank. But I am sad for Kokkai, I am his fan but i do not know what happened to him, he is out of the upper (makeuchi) league and competes in the Juryo?!??! So sad...he is a good wrestler what happened to him to fall down so low?

This was a good tournament. Congrats to Baruto on his victory, and his wife is very lovely (the English translators on NHK couldn't stop talking about her). I would loved to have seen Baruto go undefeated in this tournament, but I guess Hakuho returned the favor. At the last tournament, Baruto defeated him and messed up his perfect record on the final day too.
