Baseball club owners OK DeNA's acquisition of Yokohama BayStars
TOKYO —
The 12 owners of Japan’s professional baseball clubs on Thursday approved the acquisition of the Yokohama BayStars by cell phone game creator DeNA, despite opposition from one club owner’s representative who said they had concerns about the nature of DeNA’s web site business.
DeNA, founded in 1999, operates Mobage, a social gaming platform that currently has more than 30 million registered members in Japan.

now they have to ruin the name and change it to Yokohama DeNA Bay Stars...without the DeNA was good enough.

Maybe they can use their gaming platform experience to come up with a pitching staff?
