Way to go Bode and Team USA. Eight medals for the U.S. in just six events. Hope the stations here show this event tonight. But, more likely, we'll see more curling.

lets not get too excited about "team usa" shall we. America does have more athletes, more money & more technology than any other nation. So on a per-ratio performance, they are doing just average.

The US usually doesn't do particularly well in the winter olympics at all. I myself am quite happy with their performance so far - 35 medals would break the record from 2002!! Germany will surely catch the US by the end though...
