Good job to both teams.
This is the way grownups should play.

Agree with Okinawamike; both teams did extremely well, and coming in second to a team who has won every time but once is nothing to be ashamed of.
"In a gracious postgame gesture, Japan’s players and coaches lined up and exchanged high-fives with the California kids after Huntington Beach did the traditional victory lap around the stadium warning track."
Yes, this is definitely how grown-ups should play.

JapanGal: "Grown-ups do play baseball like that."
The statement was not limited to adult baseball players, who are often more childish than children anyway. It referred to adults in general.

No I feel a lot better, born in Mexico, raised in California so I can be happy for those 2 teams, but Japan lost and half of my family here in Japan is Japanese anyway I am happy for all of this kids from all over the world, if they made it to Williams Port they are ALL WINNERS in my book!

Notice the Japan LLers didn't cry. Now that's something older J-ballers should play. There's no crying in baseball, haha!
