Excellent.

And Nishikori had both wins for Japan. He's literally a one man team.

He's literally a one man team. and thats a good thing!?, havent heard of any "one man teams" that have won any titles

bicultural: Too bad it's not a 'one-man team' championship. In any case, it was no easy win against Roanic and looks like it was fairly even. The two have become good rivals, with both winning in different tournaments, and here's hoping they have a chance to play again soon.

As for Canada, congrats! Not hearing anything about the other matches between the two nations, but oh well.

1995, Pete Sampras, Davis Cup Finals, all wins in 3-2 victory, after collapsing, away, on clay

Amazing. Not one time does the article name the sport being played.

The name of the sport appears above the headline.

I'm happy. I don't like Raonic. My favourite player is Nishikori, but I'm Canadian so I couldn't cheer for Japan even tho Nishikori is Japanese! He will soon be top 3 and win a major.

1995, Pete Sampras, Davis Cup Finals, all wins in 3-2 victory, after collapsing, away, on clay , well Sampras probably the best player in the history of tennis after Federer, theres no suprise there. but if you have to go back 20yrs for an example, juts proves my point. one man teams very rarely win titles. Nishikori is far from even being in the same class as Sampras
