No way, who wants to see that

Who wants to see it at the college level? Women in the stands.

The NFL has increased it's pay for cheerleaders since the last time I paid attention to their status. In the 90's, the Redskins paid their cheerleaders $50 per home game. No pay for away games because the cheerleaders didn't travel to away games. Like the article says, they don't do it for the money.

My cousin was a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader back in the '80s. They got some money for games, a little bit for personal appearances at different events, that's all. She stayed on for 2 or 3 years, until she got tired of it.

Mr. Becker - A babysitter of mine did the same in the late '70s. !
