Strange weekend. City losing at home, Chelsea sticking 6 past Everton and Burnley only managing a draw v Man U.

LOL. And City fans are already busy digging through their closets for their Chelsea jerseys... Found yours yet Tamarama?

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Ha ha.

No, I won't be doing that. As I pointed out to you before, I supported City when they were in the 3rd Division.

But another strong point for United against Burnley there. Might be very valuable at the end of the season.

City's fans were famously loyal in the bad times and the gallows humour in the chants could be very funny. No doubt they've attracted a few who will jump off the bandwagon if things turn bad, but that's true of any successful side.

Sean Dyche will be nervous - they might be calling for his head there at Turf Moor after a showing like that.

Did you two watch the Burnley-United match? Probably not. Burnley should be thankful they got to play with 12 men on the pitch.

@US

"12 men on the pitch."

Is that some kind of clever quip, or don't you really know much about football?

I watched it. How much did that Man U attacking 'talent' cost again? How many shots on target? Bring back Gary Birtles, all is forgiven.

@Jimizo

Watching Liverpool right now.

I have to say they look better and brighter than your boys. I hope I'm wrong, but I reckon they're going to beat you to a top four place this season.

@Luca I'm watching it too. I'd agree, they look top 4 material but not as good as City or Chelsea for me. I'd love to see both Liverpool and Everton in the top 4 but I can't see it. Everton's defence all over the place in all 3 games.

@Jimizo

Yep. Never could understand why Everton can't get it together. No reason the Reds should have eclipsed you for so long.

@zichi Good win there. Sterling carrying on from where he left off last season and Henderson looks good again. Mario managed to get through 60 minutes without any madness.....

@zichi

You're right. As a Coventry fan, I know what you mean.

Question is, am I going to stay up and watch Leicester (hopefully lose)?
