    I think Animal protection falls until the same thing as political slogans. Ask yourself, would you really want someone like PETA at your olympics =P

    I'll have to disagree. Regardless groups like PETA are often political in nature, and really, this is a sports venue. Whats the point?

    Doubtless they'll be offering classes in how to cheer properly, complete with a test, before you're allowed into the venues. Can't have people cheering randomly, or at the wrong time, can we?

    Reminds me of when the J-League took off and they had a very serious (but cute) young announcer ask an older gentleman what the proper way to cheer at a soccer game was. After much teeth sucking, he admitted that cheering properly was difficult at soccer matches, when compared with baseball.

    Speaking of PETA, according to another article, China is also taking dog off the menus of restaurants in the Olympic areas.

    Hmmm, I wonder if some Chinese tourists are confused when they see dog cafes in Japan....
