    I was right. Next prediction:

Brazil beats Japan, Cuba beats Iran.

By the way, amazing how Iran scored 6 more points total than Japan yesterday, but Japan walked off with the win. That's how those sets bounce sometimes.

what kind of Grand Chapmionship is this?

A championship which maximizes Japan's chance of winning a medal by excluding the good teams. Advice to Japan - next time make sure countries like Brazil and Cuba are not invited.

Good website about the tournament, team information, how they qualified, what teams were eliminated in preliminary rounds, etc.

Japan's hosting the tournament. Can you believe that?

my sweet Sarge, you always have the right answers for everything. I did not know you are such an expert on volleyball (I won't be surprised if you have keen interest in women's volleyball), though I was sure that your expertise was not limited only to sumo. Now to make you a little bit jealous, I should say that Iranians players were the sexiest.

All of these teams are very high-level. The worst team here would probably beat my local team like 25-2, 25-2, 25-0.

Sarge, doubt your boys would get 2 points off any of them in fact you'd be extremely lucky to get the nil in the 3rd..

"i can see how Egypt, Poland, Iran qualified."

So you could also see how Russia, Bulgaria, USA and Italy DIDN'T qualify.

"A championship which maximizes Japan's chance of winning a medal by excluding the good teams. Advice to Japan - next time make sure countries like Brazil and Cuba are not invited."

This is complete BS. The FIVB doesn't try to maximize Japan's chances by excluding strong teams, because all teams need to qualify (except for the teams who are granted a wild card, like Iran). Excluding teams is out of the question. But I guess you knew that already yourself. Next, teams are NOT invited (again, apart from the wild card teams). And even so, thinking that Japan is the one who "invites" teams is hilarious.

Besides, who again said: "next? 2nd win aginst Egypt is guaranteed today, then? Japan will be finally out without any medal." on November 19th?

Next time be careful when you jump the gun again.
